VERTICAL PROPS AND TYPES

PROPS provide the ideal and the most economic method of support for all kinds of formwork, slabs, beams, wall & columns. They are also invaluable for a wide variety of applications in general building construction and repair work. PROPS eliminate the costly labor and time consumed in cutting timber to length, wedging and nailing when used in the vertical as a prop.

Unique Features:

1. The high tensile steel pin is located through a slot in the outer section and a hole on the inner section for coarse adjustment. The cast collar located below the pin gives fine adjustment for lending and striking.

2. A self cleaning device on the collar nut, which automatically clears the thread of concrete, and dirt where the nut is rotated thus assuring quick and easy adjustment

3. A hole boss on the collar nut which makes it easy to turn in confined spaces. By inserting a bar in the hole
Base plates and head plates are holed for use with slab from work.

4. TPI ACME square thread ensure load bearing strength at this critical point.

5. Standard special shores pins are also available on request.

6. Beam type or U head props are also available according to customer's requirement.

They save time, labour and materials by completely eliminating the cutting to waste of timber and eventual deterioration and scrapping of materials.
The arms of all three sizes are interchangeable and suitable for square and rectangular sections.
The slot arrangement allows for simple, speedy and accurate adjustment to any dimension within the size range.
There are no loose parts to be lost or mislaid and the Clamps can be used an unlimited number of times.
Wedges are secured to the arms by a flexible galvanised steel wire instead of the usual chain and ring.
The greater strength and pliability of this wire provides the solution to the perpetual and costly problem of broken chains and lost wedges.
