VERTICAL/STANDARD CUPLOCK
Cuplock's unique locking device is formed by two cups a fixed lower cup
which is welded to the vertical at prelocated intervals, and a sliding upper
cup. The forged blade ends of the horizontal are located into the lower cup,
the upper cup is moved down and rotated to secure the components in place,
and the connection is tightened by a hammer blow to give a positive and
rigid fit. Cuplock's cup joint makes it ideal for circular scaffolding,
providing access to tanks and towers. This flexibility makes the system
particularly suited to oil refineries and chemical plants. Cuplock's
horizontals can be . positioned at any angle from 0 to 360 degrees. This
feature will accommodate any radius or curve without the need for tube and
clamp. Bays may be either trapezium shaped or alternately
rectangular and trapezium shaped |
